Sharon Boerbon Hanson

With a middle name pronounced like the spirit, it’s no wonder this fantasy author wannabe hangs out in her shower with a seven foot tall blue lizard.

When not ranging with reptiles, she likes to cook and bake. So how did she end up here?

After a career as an artist who authored eleven books on decorative painting, she turned to freelancing, wrote two software user manuals (ouch), then became a corporate hack churning out internal communications. Her sanity was saved by joining the Herd. Now she writes a career advice blog (and penned  the booklet 101 Ways to Dead-end Your IT Job) for IT students, occasional commentary for the local rag, and has a dystopic tale published in Northern Lights, 20 MinnSpec Tales.
